Privacy Policy
Invveo (“Invveo,” “we,” “us”) provides a platform for cataloging, valuing, and selling music and audio-visual gear. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Invveo, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and the organization/workspace name you create.
- Inventory content — the gear items, photos, descriptions, locations, conditions, valuations, and any other content you add to your catalog.
- Marketplace connections — if you connect a marketplace (e.g. Reverb), we store the access token you provide, encrypted at rest, to publish listings on your behalf.
- Usage data — basic technical information such as device type, app version, and feature usage needed to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the service and your account.
- To run AI features you invoke — photo identification, valuation, and listing copy.
- To publish listings to marketplaces you have connected, at your request.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and service updates.
- To monitor usage, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
AI features and third parties
When you use Invveo’s AI features (photo identification, valuation, and listing copy), the relevant content — such as item photos and descriptions — is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a result. We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers that help us run Invveo, including:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
- Anthropic — AI processing for identification, valuation, and listing copy.
- Vercel — web application hosting.
- Marketplaces you connect (e.g. Reverb) — only the listing data you choose to publish.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and associated inventory content, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, or backup purposes.
Your rights
You can access and update your information in the app, export your inventory data, and request deletion of your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@invveo.com.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive tokens at rest, and tenant isolation so each organization’s data is kept separate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Invveo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
